Edwin Williams San Angelo High School Bobcat Band Dale started out playing the clarinet, but quickly switched to the tuba. He ALWAYS made first division on solos (see all the medals on his chest). He never started work on the music until a week before contest. The TV Show “So You Want to Lead the Band” came to town. Without telling his parents or any one, he went. Entered and won the contest. After high school he went to North Texas State University and majored in music. It was here that he learned he could also sing. He had a lovely voice. |
