Susan attended Kindergarten, and 1st grade here.  It was a brand new school built for 600 children.  On opening day there were 800 children, so the kindergarten classes were put in the gym with a head high divider between the two classes.  It was a very noisy and tiring situation - but Susan did well anyway.

The school bus picked her up right at our mailbox at the end of our short driveway.
