Robert Alton returned to THE University of Texas to earn a Master's Degree.  He also worked in the Computing Center at THE University and received G I Bill checks monthly.

Pregnant Wanda did not work anymore.  Susan Lynn was born while we lived in this upstairs garage apartment of 2 bedrooms, living room/dinette, kitchen and bath. This apartment cost $ 65.00 per month.  That is not our bar b q cooker.  It belonged to the landlord.  Our landlord owned the restaurant in the Greyhound Bus Station.
