Lester B Collins, Pastor, also was the preacher who gave the invocation at Susan, David, and Gary’s high school graduations.  At Gary’s graduation the prayer consisted of four words:   ”Thank you God, Amen”.

Gary was baptized here. It was at Tallowood that Wanda first experienced the joys of Handbell Choirs.

After these years at Tallowood Bob & Wanda returned to Second Baptist for a while.  When they returned to Tallowood Duane Brooks was the Pastor.  Lester Collins is still a member of Tallowood but is retired.
