Kunz, MITZI MAE. Cherished mother, sister, aunt and friend. Died December 1, 2003 from injuries sustained in a single-vehicle accident. Mitzi was born March 4, 1952 in Dallas to William Kunz and Doris Anderson Kunz. She was valedictorian of Lancaster High School, class of 1970, and attended the University of Texas at Austin. Mitzi was a Grants Administrator for the Communities Foundation of Texas and worked previously for the Dallas Morning News. She is survived by her children Benjamin Mathews of Santa Barbara, CA and Rachel Mathews of Dallas; brother Lawrence Kunz of Lancaster; niece Laura Kunz and her son Michael of Farmers Branch; several cousins and many dear friends. Memorial Services will be held Friday, December 5, at 4 p.m., Sparkman-Hillcrest Northwest Highway Chapel.
